Scope of Work

Division 03,
Done Right

Full commercial concrete packages or foundations alone — built to the engineer's drawings, coordinated with your schedule.

The Sub That Shows Up Staffed

Every GC has a story about a concrete sub that ghosted a pour date and put the whole critical path behind. We've built our commercial reputation on being the opposite: when we commit a date, we staff it — crews, pump, testing, inspections coordinated before we ever say yes.

We work from your engineered plans and specifications: footing schedules, reinforcement details, embeds and anchor bolts, mix designs, and flatness requirements. Submittals are clean, RFIs come early instead of mid-pour, and our closeout inspection runs before yours does.

Straight Answers

Common Questions

Do you work from engineered plans and specifications?

Yes. We build commercial foundations to the structural engineer's drawings and project specifications — footing sizes and depths, reinforcement schedules, embed and anchor bolt layouts, concrete mix designs, and testing requirements. We coordinate with the engineer of record and inspection agencies throughout the project.

Do you bid work for general contractors?

Yes — concrete packages for GCs and developers are a core part of our business, and we're listed in the Blue Book. Send plans to info@jpconcretesolutions.com and we'll return a complete, itemized bid on your schedule. We're straightforward to work with: clear scope, clean exclusions, no surprises at the pay app.

What size commercial projects do you take on?

From small retail pad foundations and additions up to large slab-on-grade buildings and multi-building programs. If you're unsure whether a project fits, send the plans — we'll tell you straight whether it's in our lane and our capacity window.

How do you keep commercial pours on schedule?

Schedule reliability is the thing GCs hire us for twice. We confirm crew and pump availability before committing dates, sequence around weather windows, coordinate inspections early, and communicate ahead of problems instead of after them. When we commit a pour date, we staff it.

Are you insured for commercial work?

Yes — we carry comprehensive general liability appropriate for commercial construction and can furnish certificates of insurance naming your entity as additional insured. Documentation goes out same-day on request.

Do you self-perform or subcontract?

We self-perform our concrete work — no subcontracting the core scope. Our own crews handle forming, steel, placement, and finishing, and every project passes our final closeout inspection before we call it complete.
