What's Included

Driveways Done
Once, Done Right

Every flatwork project gets the same prep standard we bring to commercial slabs.

The Difference Is Under the Concrete

Two driveways can look identical the day they're poured and age completely differently. The one that's still clean in 20 years had compacted base, correct thickness, real reinforcement, and a smart joint layout. The one that's cracked and settling skipped some of that to hit a cheaper price. We only build the first kind.

Replacements include demolition, haul-off, and base re-compaction in the quote — no add-ons mid-job. You pick the finish (broom, smooth, exposed aggregate, decorative borders), we handle everything from tear-out to final cleanup, and your driveway is ready for cars in about a week.

Straight Answers

Common Questions

How much does a concrete driveway cost in Montgomery County?

The drivers: square footage, thickness (standard for cars vs upgraded for RVs and trucks), whether we're tearing out an existing driveway, how much grading and base work the site needs, the finish you choose, and access for trucks. Tear-out and haul-off are included in our replacement quotes — no surprise line items. We measure on site and give you a firm written number, free.

How thick should a driveway be?

4 inches of reinforced concrete is the standard for passenger vehicles. If you park a heavy truck, RV, boat, or trailer on it, we thicken the section and upgrade reinforcement in those areas. Going thinner to save money is how driveways end up cracked in two summers — we won't pour one that way.

Will my new driveway crack?

Straight answer: all concrete cracks — the question is whether the cracks happen where they're designed to. Control joints give the slab planned places to crack invisibly inside the joint. Combined with proper base compaction and reinforcement, that's how a driveway stays looking clean for decades in our expansive clay soils. Any contractor who promises crack-free concrete is selling you something.

Is tear-out of my old driveway included?

Yes — demolition, removal, and disposal of the existing driveway are part of our replacement quotes, along with re-compacting the base before the new pour.

What finishes can I choose?

Broom finish is the standard — clean look, good traction in rain. We also do smooth troweled finishes for covered areas, exposed aggregate for a decorative look, and borders or banding if you want the driveway to stand out. We'll show you examples before you decide.

How long before I can park on a new driveway?

Walk on it in 1–2 days, drive a car on it in about 7 days, and keep heavy vehicles off longer — we'll give you exact dates for your pour based on the mix and the weather that week.
